Errors of fact as well as grammatical and spelling mistakes are often present in self edited work. Your suggestions and corrections are most welcome.

A location standard, for the site, indicating where a photograph is taken is still up in the air. You will currently find a mix of Google map addresses, GPS locations and this; [19km], immediately after a description or note, which is roughly the shortest route by road from the big roundabout / old Cambridge Post Office (Cambridge CBD), along with a few as-the-crow-flys measurements via Google maps from the same point. Or nothing at all. I am also looking into using the oddly endearing  what3words but this needs much more work on my part. Your suggestions will always be helpful. edited 3/12/2016

The use of the tag Beyond the shire is a lighthearted way of indicating places, close at hand, around the periphery of Cambridge New Zealand and its districts. It is, of course, a reference to Hobbiton Movie Set which is 25km, by road, to the east of Cambridge CBD.
